At the beginning of June, I started redesigning my website. A week later, the heat arrived, and I couldn't work on the project anymore. Going outside became a real challenge. It was one of the hottest temperatures ever recorded in the Netherlands. They had never even issued a red weather warning before.

It is a few days before summer. There is a strawberry time in the Netherlands. The weather is so warm. There are a lot of farms around where everybody can eat strawberries.

April was so warm and dry. I thought about starting a small garden on my balcony. But if the month was already this warm, I was afraid the summer would be even hotter, so I gave up on the idea. But Lu never gives up.

If you follow your dreams, how far can they take you? Reading is important — it lets you create your own worlds. Computer or a book before bed?

More sunshine. More birdsong. Happy people outside. I hope there will be even more when the bad things are gone. Sakura season is almost here in the Netherlands.
